The best part of my school experience at Maui Prep has been the sports. Playing varsity volleyball for 3 years has allowed me to grow and also experience different parts of the state whether that's for states in Oahu or league games in Lanai, Hana, and Molokai. My least favorite part about maui prep is that it is extremely clicky. Some of the people are not very nice and breaking into a friend group you can actually trust is challenging.

I love the community and the overall inclusiveness of students. All faculty and staff are super friendly. The school pushes you academically and actively. Super helpful when it comes to preparing for college.

This young school is a miracle. Built on Love and Aloha, this Preschool-12 Day and Boarding School grows our children into global citizens, change-makers, and leaders.

As a student here, I can honestly say this school is something special. From the moment you step on campus, you feel the aloha spirit—everyone is welcoming, the teachers truly care, and the environment is both supportive and inspiring. The classes are engaging and challenging, but in the best way. Th...

I like this school. It has a bunch of choices for extracurriculars, sports, and supplemental learning (the passion projects are great).

Their mantra is “we’re a private school we can do what we want.” Teachers create their own curriculum. There is so much variation year to year, teacher to teacher, it is not a cohesive program from preschool to 12th. Paraprofessionals step in as subs for lower school teachers, often for extended per...

Maui Prep is such a amazing school. From the administration to the teachers and staff, they always go above and beyond for the students and their families. As a parent of a 2023 grad, I honestly don’t know where my kids would be without all the support they’ve gotten from this school. They’ve helped...
