The teachers I had were nice and they made learning fairly easy. LHS had a lot of classes available that other schools may not have, including our West Shore Career Tech Program and some of the AP classes they offer, like AP African American Studies. Though certain things could be handled a little better, LHS was a decent high school to attend.

The teachers are really knowledgeable and kind. There are a good amount of resources for students and there is a lot of diversity. The music department is wonderful and the sports teams are average but really fun to be a part of.

Nothing about the school other than convenience make this school or school district for that matter anything special. If your moving to Ohio or this area I would reall...

We came from a Catholic school with a very homogenous student body, all like my son. Teaching there was not very creative and differences on both ends of the spectrum not valued. LHS is diverse and inclusive. Focus is on learning for all kids, not just high test scores. Very positive first year expe...

Lakewood high has much to be proud of! They have a wide variety of academic courses and the music program is outstanding. Best in the state, especially the orchestra program. LHS provides great opportunities for its students and they are lead by dedicated, passionate teachers. Highly recommend
