The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

NHS, as a whole, provided a strong foundation for the majority of its students. It struggled to be overly competitive in both academics and sports, but has a very talented choir program. Gifted students may be disappointed with the general lack of challenging content outside of APs and mediocre teaching staff for several AP classes.

The best part of my experience at Neshaminy High School was the overall atmosphere with the student involvement and the sports teams. Also, my academics were pushed to the limits to help me prepare for my future. One thing I would like to see change is the rudeness of the administration and the bad food they serve in the cafeteria.

I started high school during COVID but since I walked through the doors as a freshman I felt nothing but welcomed, at ease, and safe. It saddens me that I will be leaving next June, but I will always be grateful for the memories that will last a lifetime.
