GreatSchools Rating

GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The lunch food is actually terrible. The vending machines never work and never have anything good because it's all "diet." Some of the teachers are truly not the best people so you will never have a perfect lineup of teacher. There will always be one that is not nice to you and that ruins your day. Not a bad school tho overall. Better than Moody I can guarantee you that.

I was a student at Leeds High School my freshman and junior year of highshool. The school is very diverse. I would like to see a change in the hiring of the teachers. A lot of the teachers at Leeds High School show racist tendencies towards the black students at the school.

I currently go to LHS and it is the best school all around in the Birmingham area if you ask me. The education is really valued and lack of discipline is not tolerated whatsoever. The teachers really try to push each student to excell in their best subject and work hardto improve their worst. We get...
