The school is in a bad area, there's lots of fights, and I feel like the teaching isn't that good because of the area which is one of the main reasons I want to go to college so I can go to a better area.

My experience about Alain LeRoy Locke was good and it does have a good culture to it. It is safe, the teachers try to really connect with the students, as well the academics is very good. The teachers will take time out of their day after school to help you understand things you do not understand. The only thing I would change is some of the students mindsets are towards the school because the school is really a good school.

I have been to a couple of different school including magnet school and let me say that these teachers care more about my future and my goals then any of the previous schools did together.
