As the oldest high school in Cobb County, R. L. Osborne now serves roughly 2,000 students. Originally started as a one-room school in a community church in 1881, the school has been relocated, renovated and renamed several times over the years. The school is a 3DE high school, participating in a nonprofit organization’s curriculum that partners with businesses to give students real-world instruction. Students can also participate in the school's many special opportunities, including the extensive JROTC program, fine arts courses, world language instruction and Advanced Placement options. The school hosts a number of scholarship and financial aid opportunities for students looking to pursue higher education. The long tradition of the school is expressed daily through its many student groups including Beta Club, Cardinal Mask drama club, and Future Business Leaders of America. Athletic students seeking to represent Osborne High on the field can do so through cross country, football, baseball, basketball, riflery, and wrestling.

My overall experience with Osborne high school has been pretty good. I've gone here since my freshman year and have made a lot of friends and I've been apart of a lot of things in Osborne. Jrotc, flag football, lacrosse and mastery band.

I love how involved the teachers are in students lives. I also loved the amount of opportunities the school and teachers provided students.

He was simply trying to assist another student who had left her bag in the classroom. Unfortunately, she did not hear him calling ou...

I will not recommend this school to anyone, poor communication between teachers and parents. The school is failing the students. CITA should be independent from Osborne High School

I went to Osborne from 2004-2006 and I really liked it. The teachers were really kind and supportive, and I always felt like I could go to any of them or the counselors for advice or help. The hardest part about going to Osborne was dealing with the rumors, myths, and reputation it had in the past....
