The Jose Marti School II is a private fourth-grade through eighth-grade school located in Miami, Florida. It has a population of approximately 80 students and a student-teacher ratio of 11-to-1. The main goal of this school is to provide a positive learning environment while also teaching students the skills they need to excel in education and life. Educators at the Jose Marti School II strive to instill confidence in their students while also teaching them to embrace their uniqueness.
The rigorous curriculum implements open-ended activities that allow the students to learn at their own pace and develop their individual thinking processes. The low-order class structure allows teachers to provide more individualized instruction and encourages students to be self-motivated learners. Core subjects such as math, reading, spelling, vocabulary and social studies are offered as well as Spanish. These subjects are broken down into different components and presented to students in a variety of ways.
Students are given an array of opportunities to demonstrate their mastery of subjects throughout the school year. The Next Generation Sunshine State Standards give students benchmarks and standards to meet that will prepare them for high school. These benchmarks and standards have been improved to increase student achievement on standardized tests.

I would not attend another school, even if I were offered money. This school has the perfect balance of challenges and those memorable experiences with your friends. Some of the friends that I have made here will be in my life for the rest of it. Even the teachers are always available if you need some advice or any type of help.

I personally enjoy eating the food from the cafeteria; they serve a good portion of food for the students. Also, the cooks try to change up the tastes of some food; they use different seasonings to add flavor. There are also salads, fruits, sushi, and more that are available to us.

Athletics is not something that this school focuses on; however, it has begun to initiate new sports programs for any of the students that would like to join. There is also an after-school program for students who stay after school and desire to play sports.
