GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Millington does very little to protect its very small group of minorities. It is a sports-obsessed and self-centered community. That being said, there is a decent amount of recent teachers who truly do care for their students and are willing to help change the environment. The problem is that the community does very little to allow that.

I liked participating in all the sports at Millington High School. I developed good relationships with the teachers and now they are some really good friends of mine now that I'm graduated. The facilities weren't the best but they do have a 5 star weight room which I enjoyed. They have an amazing computer/technology department. The education you get is very college ready and most of the teachers actually teach you instead of just giving you answers.

HORRIBLE SCHOOL!! This school gets worse by the year. Staff, teachers, bus drivers..the whole system is pathetic. There is no respect for students from the teachers or bus drivers. They have a ridiculous policy about bullying. A teacher can bully a student about the kid not passing a grade though an...

I have two kids that went to Millington High School. The Principle and guidance counselor from what I have experienced are bias toward athletes if your child is into sports they should be fine but, if they are into learning, reading books etc... then they really don't have a lot of time for you. I a...

I have had one son graduate from Millington and I have took my other son out of Millington and sent him to a different school. I must say my youngest son is doing 100% better now. He went from D's and E's to A's and B's. One of my complaints is they have no money. My youngest son didn't even have bo...
