GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

In New Milford Highschool you will meet some of the most caring teacher. Teachers that at the end of the day want the best for their student's and their futures. Some of my best days are at New Milford Highschool. Here I feel free to be whatever I want without feeling judged. There are a list of programs you can join and even clubs. New Milford puts their community first and there is always a way to give back. However the schools and district need to put other things first. Making sure teachers are being paid and supporting them.

There are some amazing teachers that care about students and want you to excel. There are a fair amount of student organizations to get involved in.

Overall a quite unenjoyable school. Uneducated & unprofessional staff, with a lack of consistent cirriculum. Below average academics, while programs such as Academies & Football are inflated and overembellished. The administration only cares about public affairs and seems to pay no attention to matt...

My child very dislikes NMHS, same as I. The school inly has AC in the office and rooms with special education students. It's really not fair for kids to suffer in the heat. Also the school is very unappealing on the inside, very rundown and uncomfortable. Not a place I would let my kids stay at the...

Moved to New Milford a year ago. I have two children in this school and really happy with the staff, school itself and academic, sports and social activity programs that they provide. Their annual theater/musical program is amazing and well known in Bergen county!!! This school is in the right track...
