GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

In my 4 years of attending Oak lawn community high school I would say It's a pretty good school from the other I've heard from. This school is big on safety and protocol and we've just added online student id that needs to be shown before entering the building which I think helps. They also make sure all students know what to do in certain situations. 1 thing that's not the best that I think everyone can agree on is that the food isn't the best. It has went down over the years. They do give the right nutrients we need It's just not good and we could be served better food.

It was a good school, good envirenment and good community. I actually looked forward to going tot achool everyday. Most of the teachers were good at teaching the material but some lacked teaching strategies.

I like the teachers involvement within the school. The teachers really work hard to make sure your doing great in every class no matter if it isn't even the class they teach.

Kids are terrible. They don’t treat everyone equally. Most of the teachers they try not to overwhelm you work but sometimes have trouble understand that every student is different
