GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

For a public highschool it had great academics and a wide variety of classes that you could take in the ladder years. The sports and clubs that they offered were amazing and allowed spaces to explore athleticism and new hobbies for really cheap. I really enjoyed my time there.

O'Fallon is a great school. I just graduated and was going there for four years and was a freshman during the pandemic and all my years were very smooth. Fun and engaging. I learned a lot. I am going into music education in the future and because O'Fallon has such a great music program, I was able to get into my top college and my teachers and guides counselors and principal helped to set me up for the success that I need for the rest of my life. I would cherish the moments that I had at this high school because it was so great.

Courses are good but the teachers hate teaching. It makes everyone's experience that much worse, and the admins aren't much better.

Admin will sweep almost everything under the rug. Teachers scream at special ed students like no tomorrow and get reported multiple times by families and nothing is done about it. The energy in some of the classrooms is very negative and admin will do just about anything but support their staff.

Bullying is out of control. Does not keep students safe, the zero tolerance policy is a joke. Does not offer many advanced classes. I wouldn’t send my dog here on a free ride. Run far as you can drone OTHS.
