GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The students were good people, though I can't speak on the behaviours of present students, and many of the staff and teachers were kind as well. However, I did occasionally experience transphobia for some of the teachers. It was never addressed with any higher ups, but people were aware. Some of the teachers there were also downright cruel to multiple students. I had one teacher that was so transphobic, she intentionally failed me and the one other trans kid in my class.

LakeVille High School has some truly wonderful teachers and is a good place to make friends. The staff are very welcoming. There are some issues with individualism in the academics but it's improving.

Smaller class size which was nice. Great teachers. Teaching staff was usually willing to help with any extra help if needed. Would love to see air conditioning in the school.

This school does LITTLE to prepare graduates for post-secondary education. Overall, the coursework and academic rigor is substandard.

My daughter goes to middle school and I really think that the teachers are doing a great job! She is getting great grades with a lot of encouragement from them! The teachers really keep me informed of her progress!
