My experience at Palatine Highschooo has been an extreme journey of happiness, stress and sadness. Most of my best moments here have been spent at the sports events or doing a partner project and collating with teachers for outside clubs. It's the students and staff inside the school that make the experience so fun here. I basically grew up here so to try and answer the question on "What would I like to see change", I couldn't give you an answer because this is all I know and I'm happy with how my outcome has turned out after 4 years.

My overall experience with Palatine High School has been amazing. I got involved within my school's activities and athletics very early and it taught me that the school is much more then just a school. This is a community where I can make long term friendships and relationships. They have also helped me with the college search and post high school journey to make sure everyone is prepared.

Palatine High school has a very strong community. The people in the school love caring for one another and genuinely want to see every student succeed. They have very strict guidelines set in place to protect our safety and makes us feel safe. I always feel safe in this school. The teachers there love their jobs. You can tell by the way they go about teaching, they're passionate about teaching. A lot of my teachers have encouraged us to go to college and do the best we can academically.

This school has a lot of rampant systematic racism, sexism, homophobia and ableism. If you go into a "Higher level" class, almost all students are white.
