GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

This school is the best. I've been here since 2nd grade through 7th grade and my experience here did not disappoint at all. The students here are mostly well behaved, the teachers here are cool and they teach well. Throughout my experience here, it was really easy to find friends and people I could interact too. They were nice and I have not seen one case of bullying here but that is just me. I like how when you switch over to vine street you get a iPad instead of chromebooks where normal public schools use chromebooks. The iPads were easy to use and they gave you a case which includes a keyboard where you can type. This school is the best and I recommend to attend it

PPACS is a really great college ready school to help provide students with good education. The majors provided may also help students that are interested in majoring in their majors in college which can be very useful. Resources are provided especially being an Apple school.

Overall I've had an amazing experience at string theory. Yes, I've had my ups and downs with classes but I always make out with the help of friends and teachers at the school. It's all what you make do your high school experience and how you go about each day.

Good caring teachers are overwhelmed by misbehaving students and large classes in tight quarters. The anti-bullying policy is a joke. When kids go through the hallways to change classes, they get slammed into lockers by bullies. When teachers have their head turned, kids have things knocked off thei...

My child has attended PPACS for a few years now. From an arts and academics standpoint, it is great. Their performances are top notch, and the opportunity to perform in world-class spaces like the Kimmel Center is incredible. I also appreciate the use of technology in relation to their academics. Wh...

This school depends on technology more than in-person, teacher led instruction. They give the children iPads and lessons from iTunes U and stick them in a classroom with a babysitter. It's essentially an online school, but in a building with adult babysitters. If you cherish in person learning, read...

I am so worried that my child will not be prepared for high-school let alone college! I rate this school a 5. I have been in and around the Phila school district to know it can always be worse. Much worse.A. Not enough reading of classics and otherwise, B. not enough creative writing (not typing), C...
