GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I do not like Thurston. For majority of the time I've been enrolled at Thurston, I've regretted choosing to go to this high school because of the poor environment created by an obvious lack of funding and a student body that (mostly) does not come to school to learn.

My experience at Thurston High School wasn't always positive. I have experienced exhaustion and uncomfortable moments throughout my high school experience. The positive side is that I still pushed through and I am currently still pushing through all the negativity and still working hard to achieve my goals. What I would like to see change is for the teacher's to understand the students more.

I've been going to Thurston High School for 4 years, the teachers and staff are amazing and extremely helpful. Their sports for girls arent as competitve as I would want them to be, but that's because student involvement is low. There are plently of AP classes avaiable for students along with electives, clubs and extracurrilar activites.
