At South Lakes High School, I learned a lot not only in academics but also in myself. Over the four years I spent there I had some amazing teachers that were willing to cater to their students different learning styles. My senior year DE English teacher was probably one of the best teachers I had. She helped us use our real lives to apply it to our course work. I was able to right about things that had happened or that were currently happening and apply them to the different topics we were discussing.

I spent most of my time participating in theater as a stage manager, and it was my favorite part of high school. The environment was a very loving and welcoming one, but sometimes the adults involved would turn against each other and in turn the students would get caught in the crossfire.

South Lakes High School is a great place to study as a high school student, as it offers several high-rated facilities from sports to IB Diploma's, but when talking about food it could improve.

This school lets student's determine if they want to be addressed by another gender name without notifying parents. I found out my child goes by one name (not their legal name) and pronoun in school and another name and pronoun at home. My child is living a double life: one at school and one at home...

Great school, great education, great atmosphere, really just a misunderstood gem. I don't recall anyone not being helped when they needed it and all are welcomed and loved as a part of the Seahawk community.
