GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I will like to see everything change about the school. It's in a bad area , where shootings and gang violence occur.

It's a interesting school to say the least even though you can go from chilling to fight just like that it's crazy

I think George Wythe, despite what people may say about the school, is a good school. Yeah, the students sometime are a little bit wild, but that's mostly an issue that is independent of the school, if you ask me. The teachers are awesome, helpful and engaging. They are probably my favorite part about the school, to be honest. The school also cares a lot about the students' success, as well as their preparations for college later in life, all of which are the strongest parts about George Wythe High School.

The staff in the office rarely answers the phones, especially during after school programs, events etc, then when they do, they show no professionalism. Phones are answered with attitudes when they are being answered. The staff rarely knows anything your calling to be informed about.
