Hidden Valley High School is a small, overlooked school. I feel that its administration and staff are knowledgeable and helpful, especially since their ratios to students is low. I do feel that the student body is informed and intelligent, but they are not spirited or involved in the school community or outside community.

Every year there is a dress up competition between grades, it is a week long event and each day there is a different theme. Everyone generally has fun during this time as well. Not all teachers teach the class the same so I have had some teachers that will sit at their desk on their phone instead of starting a lesson.

Within each year rules increased by great amounts, several mess-ups with paying for dual enrolment classes occurred, including other mess ups which should not have occurred. But, overall positive environment.

The rating for this school needs to be re-evaluated. This definitely does not include the statistics for the students who they remove and kick out because they don’t meet or live up to their “perfect standards”.
