I have had an amazing experience to Rockwall High School. I am a senior and have been involved in drill team and honors classes all 4 years. The experience I have had is like no other and I am very fortunate to have attended this high school.

I attended Rockwall Highschool for four years and will be graduating in the winter of 2024. My experience has been generally okay. Rockwall is known for being a safe and diverse school, which it is. However, there are some day-to-day issues that I've found to be a little concerning. One of those issues is access to water. As of right now, you must pay $1.50 for water, unless you drink out of the fountain, which is not maintained. The water from the fountains taste bad, and I don't understand why I have to pay for water at a place that I am required to attend.

Rockwall High school is a fairly clean and organized school. The school is continuing to grow as they added two freshman centers to the district. My favorite thing about the high school is their collaboration with Collin college through their dual credit program. This program really helped me to prepare myself for the college. They also allowed for me to earn both my CCMA and My EKG certification through their clinicals program. Overall my least favorite thing about Rockwall high school is the fact that they do not pay enough attention to the strings program. The band gets all of the recognition but not the strings and I wish that they would recognize them.

This school just simply does not care if your child has any sort of learning disability and will do absolutely nothing to support them. They will demean them, and make as if it is their fault that they aren’t perfect students. Teacher communication is horrible and the superintendent backs poor admin...

We moved to Rockwall from CA last year by this time. My elder son started going to 9th Grade after joining here. So far, we are happy with the school and the staff. Management is so nice and they are always helpful to resolve all kinds of study related issues. I am happy with the security inside the...

We moved to Rockwall from Dallas after elementary school ended. We’ve had an amazing experience with RISD! Our son has some learning issues and the support has been fantastic. He also participates in the football program which is second to none. Fantastic facilities and coaches.
