GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The best part of Roelsville High School is its diverse student population. Everybody in the school has their own ideas and culture leading to a blended community. The worst thing about Rolesville High School is the fights and code-red lockdowns. We've had four lockdowns during my time at Rolesville High School which is something that is hard for students and parents to deal with.

My experience throughout the 4 years at Rolesville HIgh School has been great. I made lots of friends throughout the years. All the teachers I had were really good at teaching, they went in depth of explanation to help all the students understand better. Though I had a great time, there were times where I was scared of my and others safety. There was a code red for every year of my 4 years here. I would also like to see more diversity in the school with more recognition of other minorities.

The school itself was great but the teachers weren't very good. Some didn't even care about the students and were just not fit to teach. The school needs some serious leadership in turning the school around.

As a former teacher at RHS , I wouldn't recommend this school to anyone. With the majority of the students below grade level, all the admin care about is passing students along and getting bonuses by making students take tests and courses they don't even need. Behavior problems are out of control. S...

This is a problematic school.1. It serves as "overflow" for neighboring districts. This has resulted in an incredibly high Free and Reduced Lunch population. There's nothing inherently "worse" about these students, but they do tend to come from communities and families that have greater needs than t...

My son has done very well in this school. The music program in particular is fantastic. The music teachers promote a warm and encouraging environment and provide a multitude of leadership opportunities for students who are willing to put forth the effort. The academics are on par with other school s...

Like any other school RHS is a function of what the STUDENT makes of it and puts into it. All of the staff i have interacted with are very pleasant and truly try to put the kids 1st and set them up for success. I am very pleased with my son's experience there thus far.
