GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

It was alright wasn't bad for a little school in New Mexico but the faculty wasn't all that great and didn't really set people up for success besides a couple teachers

The best parts of my experience in this school has been that almost all of the students in this school are actually nice easy to talk to they are very welcoming. The bad parts about this school would be that the teachers need to teach the students a little more about real life situations like how to apply to college, what things are available to students in order for them to be able to go to college, and challenge the students more to become a little more realistic to what college is really like.

I had a terrible experience in Goddard High. This school was mostly comprised of students of Caucasian and Hispanic descent, and I was a part of the 0.1% Asian demographic, for that I got bullied. There were a lot of kids that made fun of me for my eyes and made stereotypical jokes such as asking me if I eat dogs on a regular, but I just tried to shrug it off most of the time. It was difficult for me to make and maintain friends which put me in a more depressed state and caused me to lose motivation to go to school. The teachers were great though, I will never forget my math teachers Ms. Carillo and Ms. Montaño and my history teacher Mr. Alvarado. Despite of the bad things I experienced, I was able to get through them all. I am a sophomore in college now and I could not be any happier.
