Overall, Clairemont is a fairly positive learning environment. Most of the teachers do their best to make students comfortable and set them up to succeed. The Academy System, however, could use some work. It divides students in different academies from seeing each other during classes. Making it just so you have an Academy Specific class would be better in my opinion than always being with the same kids. The food also sucks.

It is a very academic-focused school with great staff, a lovely community, and good connections to local colleges. Very open arms and a zero-bullying policy. Very safe and secure school. There are academic majors that focus on business, medicine, and science.

The school environment is great, I love how connected I am with other teachers. They are really family to me. The only small downside to the school is the academies, you are with certain kids throughout your high school years. Overall, great school, very supportive staff and pushes you for success.

I have to say I have really grown to love this CHS community! My kids are thriving in the classroom & in athletics. I love how Special Education student are treated. I only have positive things to say about this school and the administration. The front office staff are THE BEST!!!

Under a new principal, Clairemont High School is taking great strides in the right direction to improving our school. The leadership is taking great initiative to make sure that all students, regardless of their backgrounds, are being given an equitable educaiton and chances to participate in campus...

This is my second child at CHS. Both have had excellent experiences. This is a perfect fit for us and I can't imagine another school being better for them.
