GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Overall, Anzar High School is a good school to go to if you enjoy a small community. Due to the small class sizes, students are able to really connect with teachers and build more of a bond whereas at a larger school you might not get that.

Anzar High is academically a good school. It's very small and the average graduating class is around 50 students. This particular school requires something called graduation exhibitions which adds a lot of pressure on students. The staff is okay, environment is okay, but this school is definitely not for everybody.

It's such an amazing school that balances the best of both worlds! It's got a small-campus feel to it without sacrificing academic rigor.

It was good. They just need more funding and it would be even better. Plus everyone always freaks out about Grad-Ex (it’s basically a senior project and an additional graduation requirement) but it’s not that hard, you gat a whole class period to work on it and you can take it for either a semester...

Anzar has been an amazing school experience for my child. She graduated with honors and was accepted to 9 different CSU's and UC's. She feels more than prepared for college and based on her visits to the campuses and speaking with college students she says that she expects freshman year to be fairly...

My School is great! Anzar has a very relaxed feel to it, every teacher is there for the students that are willing to accept their help. To the parent below talking bad about a teacher who used his middle flinger, he is an amazing guy, he is sarcastic, knows exactly how to teach his students and appr...

If you want your kids to graduate this is not the school for them, some teachers actually are helpful but in the long run it isn't worth your time applying most students eventually leave in their senior year due to the school's extra requirements.
