Shorewood HS is diverse, has strong academics and college preparation programs such as Running Start, and top quality counselors. There are many extracurricular choices for whatever your interest aligns with. Student parking is not great, difficult to find a spot and not a lot of street parking.

I believe shorewood does a lot of things at an average level and doesn't really succeed in any noticeable manner. I find their student support only seems to extend to those in those who are in the worst of conditions and if you aren't you are punished with poor performances being pinned on you.

Shorewood has been a great experience for me. I have loved all four of my years here. When I started here it was all online and they did a very good job running it. I have loved my teachers and all of the students at the school. I wish there were more electives that were related to history. We have a lot of science and math classes but not very many history ones.

This is a wonderful school with a responsive staff and creative teachers. Our son has had a wonderful experience at this school. He is off to the University of Washington this fall where he will receive an academic scholarship. Thanks!

Frankly, the school is unorganized, its schedule is ineffective and wasteful, and it encourages getting ahead through means that are less than beneficial.
