I love the staff there. All the teachers and counselors are so helpful and supportive and I have been able to accomplish everything I have wanted to.

It has a great music program that I am very involved in. The academics are very advanced and the teachers are great.

There are always good and bad things. I think the good teachers you run into can make it memorable. Their silly mistakes and slip-ups can light up your day after three tests in a row. I loved learning how to make a balloon animal during my break when I had nothing else to do. I will always remember the highlights of my years there.

I hate this school. the teachers are harsh, the principals are all rude and they pick favorites, and just the school's vibe is all off. I only come to school to see my friends honestly.

My daughter transferred to this school from Washington High School in Sioux Falls because of medical discrimination at WHS (504 plan, diabetes). She had nothing but the best experiences at LHS. As a former teacher in the district, as well, I wish we had started her at LHS.

Through one of the school's clubs, DECA (Distributive Education Clubs of America), I have learned more about the real world than I feel I have sitting in one of the classrooms there. As every student would, I would like to change their motivation to help minorities and also change their view on home...
