Opened in 1990 on Ross Road SW in Snellville, Georgia, Shiloh Elementary School (Shiloh) is a public, prekindergarten through fifth-grade elementary school serving approximately 730 students with an average student-teacher ratio of 13-to-1. Shiloh utilizes the Academic Knowledge and Skills curriculum (AKS) developed by teachers with input from parents, guardians and community members. Shiloh’s Art Club gives students the opportunity to explore their artistic talents through collaboration and community-based art projects. Students also hone their skills through independent projects. Girls on the Run club at Shiloh allows female students to participate in interactive, running challenges and practices while preparing them to participate in a 5k running event. The goal of this club is to develop and establish a lifelong appreciation of health and fitness. Student Council at Shiloh introduces students to politics and promotes leadership and planning skills. Members of the Shiloh Student Council sponsor fundraisers, promote school spirit and address school-related issues. Shiloh’s Counseling Department offers a variety of initiatives that are geared toward helping their students be their best selves at school as well as in the community. Some of these initiatives include the Character Trait of the Month and the school’s safety patrol program.

Our experience with Shiloh has been great so far. My child's Kindergarten teacher (Dr. Elliott), keeps us informed with an interactive app that shows us classroom pictures and gives daily reports about his behavior and academic progress.
