GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Parkview High School is a good school but can come with some issues. When I attended there was always a chance you would encounter a fight in the hall over some petty issue. Teachers really care about the students and their education and would make sure every student was able to learn in the best way for them.

Parkview high school is not a school you want to send your children to. Unless they are straight, white, skinny, and male. There is hardly any diversity. Kids are ridiculed for simply being different with no changes from the administration. Even in serious topics like sexual harassment or even sexual assault.

It was fairly standard overall. While there were flaws, particularly with funding, I had a very good time throughout my 4 years working there. The social environment was mostly friendly, and I met some of the best teachers I knew in that school.

Great school where everyone is welcome. Not cliquey or high drama.

If you need to have any assistance from the office personnel, good luck. Also school nurse is incompetent and never around to assist in medical emergencies. Office personnel except students to do their jobs for them. That isn’t what my tax dollars are supposed to be used for. I would recommend if po...
