GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Highland Park is a very diverse school and very inclusive. It provides a various extra curricular classes and after school clubs for everyone to join and feel welcomed within the school.

I would like to see a lot of changes at this school. I feel like some of the staff member aren't suited for the position there in and others don't get the resources they need for their classrooms. Other changes I would also liked to see is more rewards for well-behaving students. I remember while attending this school most of the focus would be on children who were not behaving correctly and cause of that it often led to other students suffering consequences because of their actions.

I love going to highland park high-school it very fun it like a movie but one thing I dislike is the fact teachers tell you what you CAN or CAN'T do in life because of your background. But other than that it very fun there many different clubs you can join if you don't know ask someone which club do...

When you recycle administration from one failing school to another, you get the kind of academic outcomes this school and district has. I don't think these folks get it at all.Great kiddos

If one includes the performance of the basketball teams (FIVE state titles) HPHS should rate a 10 !!
