GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Very diverse school and was chosen due to the fact. Definitely a poorer demographic so there were lots of different kinds of experiences at school.

Troy High school is a good place to send your child. It's safe, diverse, and has great teachers. One thing about it, though, is it's very, VERY cliquey. There's almost a hierarchy between jock and not jock. I would recommend sending your child here, but make sure they're involved in a sport.

The school is very diverse. There are many opportunities to participate in good sports teams or clubs. Even though it is an inner-city school the overall feel is pretty peaceful. There are many college level and Advanced Placement classes offered. The teachers are generally friendly and are mostly good at their jobs every once in a while there will be a lousy teacher that is bad at their job but overall they are decent.

Troy High is an amazing school. They have many electives and you can graduate with over 30 college credits. They have a variety of sports and after school activities.

My teachers are always willing to help me in any way they can and made me the successful student I am now. One of the main reasons I like the school is because of it's diversity. They're are stu...

I am an RPI student that has had experience, although limited, with Troy High as a volunteer tutor and from organizing some educational/college prep programs for students. From my limited time there it seemed apparent that the administrative staff do not believe in their students' potential. They id...

I just graduated and I would like to say Troy High School cares about us students! The teachers and staff make you feel more connected like you're basically home. One advice I could give is always try your best and never leave work until the end! Best of luck
