GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Tuscola High School is a great place to go to high school. We have a great community, and we all support each other. The teachers are absolutely amazing at teaching the students what we need to know to be prepared for college.

Tuscola is a proud community that likes to challenge everyone to do their best. They are not too keen on change, but they are competitive to be the best.

Several teachers really put a lot into their job and go above and beyond. There are a few new ones that don't completely have the swing of things down yet. There are also some teachers who have been there several years that haven't quite adapted to the new teaching ways (technology). A majority of the teachers are really spectacular and deserve more appreciation for what they do.

very bad school for people that were not born and raised in Tuscola for many generations...example if you kid wants to play a sport and they could be athletically better than the rest but if your parents didn't go to Tuscola and different kids parents are from Tuscola then they will get the spot......

All three of my children graduated from Tuscola. They are now successful. My oldest is a professor of mathmatics in Texas, my daughter is a special education teacher in Illinois and my youngest is a Marine serving in California. The proof is in the pudding!
