GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Eastern Regional High School excels at preparing students for college. The difficulty level is somewhat above the college level and so students have full readiness to enter college. The high school has many clubs and sports with many awards. Eastern Regional High School is an exceptional school that pushes students to be well-rounded and goal-oriented.

Good school with lots of different opportunities to learn and grow as a student. The main problem with the school is the administrators and their lack of competency/ability to come up with new initiatives or correct old incorrect ones.

I honestly really like Eastern. I just find some of the rules a little annoying, like how we are not allowed to move in the hallways during lunch. I understand it is for safety but it is annoying nonetheless. Also, it feels like new rules and procedures are always being added, but they are not properly enforced; kids can kind of do what they want and receive minimal repercussions.

School is filled with activities and the education options and standards are very high. The teachers are often masters or PhD holders. The athletics shine.

When I attended Eastern, I enjoyed it. I played sports and did well with my academics. It was a great community overall. The toughness with the classes definitely prepared me for college. The teachers are also great role models and approachable.
