GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Compared to horror stories I've heard about other schools, this was a good one in comparison. It's just unfortunate that there was so much bullying, but my mom says that being "like that" is just a feature of our county, so I will let it slide.

I like my high school because it has good teachers and a positive environment. I've made friendships that will most likely last for many years and I always feel like my voice is heard. Something that I wish they would change is by providing for the music and performing arts so that we don't pay for things out of pocket. It's a great school and I'm proud to attend this school.

Fauquier high School created an an environment that encouraged me take chances. Because of this, I was a student athlete, playing lacrosse and field hockey, a member of NHS, and competitor in DECA. The school fostered a well rounded educational experience.

If you want to succeed here you will need to take the harder classes and let yourself be challenged other wise you'll enter the...

I was never guided to challenge myself. This school was flooded with over 2000 students, and student relations were non-existent.
