Amazing all-boys Jesuit high school that is a perfect fit for my son who attended Catholic middle school. Academics are top-notch but we also love the emphasis on service and their motto..."Men for Others". Students are from all over the Washington DC metro area and we appreciate the diversity. School spirit is fantastic. My son plays soccer and rugby at Gonzaga and participates in other clubs. There is a club/niche for all students. Many teachers are Gonzaga alums and I appreciate that they "get" teenage boys. Discipline and integrity are valued and encourage self-advocacy. College counseling program is incredible.

Gonzaga has great teachers, a good school spirit, and located in a nice part of DC. Diversity is improving, but there is still a huge disparity in the different races there.

Excellent experience. A true brotherhood experience with an emphasis on men for others. Many opportunities for academic excellence, sports, and social clubs.

RACISM Goes unchecked here. My Asian son is a student at Gonzaga and although the academics are strong, he has been taunted with racist names and offensive antiasian speech . He was told by officials at the school that racism is something that will happen in life and he will have to get used to it....

My son attended Gonzaga between 2007 to 2011 and from the beginning I loved this school for him. Between the academics, the sports, the arts emphasis, the "Men for Others" focus, I thought he would have a well-rounded education. And to thrive in this school, you have to give a little, so we were inv...
