It has been a good experience. The language immersion program has been excellent. Sports facilities could be better.

WIS has exceptional staff, facilities, and quality of education grounded in internationalist values. The International Baccalaureate (IB) program is rigorous and prepares students for higher education. However, despite being an international school, diversity as far as race and socio-economics must seriously be considered and improved. Scholarships for low-income and minority students from the Washington, D.C. area would be prudent.

Such a place to be! I've spent 13 years here, in this lovely learning environment. Love everyone and everything.

We are parents of a WIS student. It probably stands to reason that this website might attract detractors rather than supporters, but this skews the "star" rating. WIS is a demanding school and it produces articulate, aware, and educated youngsters that embrace and thrive in all environments. Take a...

The school is not supportive of its students. It's administrative body is disorganized. Do not send your kids here
