The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I transferred to this school in my sophomore year. My motive was mainly to be reunited with my friends and the addition of the school itself being an in person dual enrollment one was just a bonus for me. I don't think that fact had processed till I walked into my first college class. My worst experiences at this school were from professors who weren't the best at teaching their material like Statistics or Anthropology. It just became incredibly hard to study. Combined with my workload of standard high school it was challenging but I managed it by studying consistently late. Even with that, I'm glad I got to experience what I experienced since it pushed me to not drop and give up. My best experiences at this school have come from the people I've met. Since there's not many students here, you get to really know everyone. It's very easy to make friends and connections with genuinely kind people. I've made memories that I'll look back on for the rest of my life.

I feel like overall, this school is a very fun and safe school. MECA is geared towards academics so it doesn't really have sports, and that's one of the main downsides of this school. But, besides that, the overall faculty at the school are vary kind of helpful people.

School size is relatively small, and there are limited classes you can take in your freshman year, but later on, you can take a small number of college classes for credits, up to 2 years' worth. (Average kids probably won't get that much though.)
