GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

They had a few anti-black protocols, some of the counselors written negligent, but they had a lot of good programs, extracurriculars, and clubs

overall the best part was support from guidance counselor and senior year math teacher. Otherwise constant fighting, unsafe feelings, weed smell constantly, and the school likes to focus on little issues not the bigger problem causing those minor issues. Also their"punishments" for SA, harassment is almost historical. One day of ISS for a lifetime of trauma.

I had a pretty good time here and don't think I would have traded going to West Orange High School or another school. WOHS has the typical issues a high school has these days: navigating changing societal beliefs/standards, vaping, student behavior, etc. But despite any potential downfalls of this school, is its diversity and acceptance is like no other, which is why I appreciate WOHS so much.

The school has a program for every level of student. My boys choose the curriculum that fit them. One of my sons is now a doctor and the second one just graduated 2 years ago and is doing well in engineering major in university. They both loved the school and the variety of sports and clubs that are...
