GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

We have this program called the MSA and that was a life-changing experience. The MSA is short for the Math and Science Academy. You start off your freshman year and go on a trip to Suttons Bay to collect different sets of data. By junior year, you're ready to take a research class. This research class opened up so many doors for me personally as well as for my peers. I wouldn't even say that was the best part of the MSA. The family you become a part of is outstanding.

Overall throughout my high school experience at Williamston I feel that I enjoyed my time there. I was a multi sport athlete and all were very competitive. Williamston also offers many alternative education experiences which I took advantage of in taking a welding course.

My experience at Williamston High School has been wonderful. I have had the best teachers and coaches to model me into the person I am today. I feel prepared and ready for the next level in my life and it's all due to the school system that we live in. I am fortunate to be apart of this community and will miss it next year when I am away in college.

It was my child's first day in a new state and in a new high school and the counselor we dealt with was terrible. She was unwelcoming and we had no choice with his classes. Als...

Williamston High School in my opinion is the best school in the mid-Michigan area, even over some of the privet schools. My child enjoys the environment and the Math and Science Academy (MSA) program that allows 28 students to engage in higher-pace classes with many benefits. I would highly recommen...
