I loved the whole school! There were not as many sports as i would have liked and clubs are really bad ngl. The teachers are pretty good tho!

A very good school, especially for a public school. Fantastic Latin Teacher in particular. Not very diverse- it's in a wealthy, mostly white neighborhood.

WJHS, Wilmette Junior High School, overall is a very great school. They have a lot of programs for kids interested in them, such as Orchestra, Science Olympiad, Track etc. If you put in work you will get great experience. On the other hand, a lot of what this school teaches is boring/uninteresting, so a lot of kids don't do the work and fall behind. There is also a very dominate social structure, with groups and rankings. You can be a nerd, jock, wannabe, and you'll probably be stereotyped that way. I was lucky because I found my group and was happy with it, but there was a lot of drama in the school.

This school is not good here. The better reviews were a decade old, the school has a bad air conditioning problem and im always falling behind, sweating, and getting picked on. Work on your school because I dislike it.

Hate it here. This school is overwhelming, unprepared, and most importantly, doesn’t take bullying accountably. There is a lot of kids that get away with mean disrespectful disruptions in this school and most of the para helpers are false, absolutely untrained, and don’t try to understand the studen...

It's great here. The teachers and staff here are really kind and caring. You won't regret going here unless you want to make your experience bad.

My students had a great experience at WJHS, and the middle school (Highcrest). The principals and teachers were impressive in their depth of knowledge regarding academics, educational innovations and the social pressures of tweens/teens.
