Cotter is a pretty good school which has multiple great teachers, but it lacks preparation for college. This school is called a "College Prep School," but it offers very few AP classes and the academic advising office is not very good at their job.

The teachers and staff are wonderful. The curriculum is challenging at times, but pays off later, when you have to do harder projects. The sports are fun and have a friendly environment. I recommend joining cross country, basketball, and track.

The classes offered at Cotter have a good balance of both challenging and engaging coursework. This of course varies from teacher to teacher, and may vary depending on the student as well. Asides from some classes lacking a thorough level of instruction at times, the classes are overall well-taught by teachers who give the impression that they enjoy their job and care about the students.
