GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

At Yorba Linda High School there is so much to do. There is the business academy or the culinary arts program. There is so many clubs and it is very easy to get involved. The best thing you could do it get involved. I know it sounds dumb but it makes high school so much better. I do not think I would change anything because the teachers are amazing and there is support from the school wherever you need it.

It is a very nice school with a very friendly environment. Food is ok but the subjects and sports are very good.

As someone who didn't grow up attending schools in the Placentia district, I feel like I've been here my whole life. I am a transfer student who came here during my sophomore year of high school and I met people who I know will be a part of my life forever. I made so many unforgettable memories. With so many pros of coming there, the only con I can think of is leaving my old friends behind.

My son graduated in 2021 during a difficult time resulting from the pandemic. The school did a respectable job working with the kids during this time. Being part of a team sport helped him stay engaged and included. My son went on to a top 10 National University where he is thriving even after losin...

how can you call this school equitable when it is notorious for being prejudiced? Most of the student population comes from relatively high-income families; the students are not only pretentious but seemingly possess a superiority complex above other schools. The privilege the school has as a Yorba...

Our experience was ok. If you have a strong student with stellar grades, this is a great place for them. But if you need any type of assistance, you will have to fight for it. My biggest issues are with the math instructors. None of them really have a great reputation amongst parents and students. T...

Yorba Linda High has been great for my children. Teachers are tough, but fair. Mr. Flynn was an amazing Principal. The school is beautiful and looks more like a community college. I heard statistics from 2019 that 98% of students from YLHS attend college in some form. They have great athletics progr...
