School overall is solid. The school as a whole has some flaws though with administration and teachers. There are for sure better ways that they can handle the problems here. Food is not consistent at all and not guaranteed if you have 3rd lunch. Sports and coaches are solid along with the facilities we have. We also have pretty solid math and science department.

The word I would use to describe York Catholic is family. The size is small enough that everyone knows everyone, and even after only a year at the school, I made some of my closest friends. Compared to the public school I came from, York Catholic is much more accepting and personable to the experience of each individual student. It's not perfect, but no school is, and it feels like home to me.

York Catholic is a family. Kindness and professionalism are the norm among faculty, staff, and administrators. Whenever there is a serious need in the YC community, we get together to provide support and pray.

it is difficult to even press 1 star for York Catholic, the Harrisburg Diocese needs to open its eyes to the happenings at this school. An administrative failure on all levels steaming from the Principal. Both the teachers and students deserve better.

I would not recommend this school on any level for any student unless there are major changes in leadership. Yes the school has raised millions of dollars to improve it's deplorable building conditions, but that is just for show. The current principal is a known bully and continues to get away with...
