Renaissance High School is a school that like most, needs a lot of improvement. Certain flaws in the school ruin its reputation, and school spirit. Many of the administration can be very rude and stuck up towards the kids, whereas most of the teachers are very accepting and friendly. This is also a very queer-friendly school having many teachers being apart of the LGBTQ+ community, and allowing students to be themselves.

This school is the best high school In the city that prepares students for college and beyond! my freshmen year was great experience some of the teachers have some questionable ways of teaching but if you do not like a class you can change it but every year they change what you can and cannot pick far as classes go but i recommend for any academic achieving student!

My experience at Renaissance High School for all 4 years have been amazing. I feel like I learned a lot from my peers and teachers while also creating strong relationships with them. In middle school, I didn't have much friends but when I stepped foot in Renaissance, I felt more confident in stepping out of my box. In my opinion, the worst part about is the food and the diversity. The food could be better and more "real" but I don't eat school lunch in general. With diversity, It's mostly African American students with only a few white students.

Then they noticed the complaints and took action to change. They now have adapted a new schedule that is easie...

My experience as a teacher was basically negative. During the year I stayed there I was expected to be just a classroom manager an grader, not a teacher who really cared for the development of his students. My best wishes to those colleagues and students who really wanted to teach and learn, not jus...

My daughter is currently a senior at the school. The curriculum is rigorous and the teachers have high expectations of the students. I believe that my daughter is getting a good education there. I'm disappointed that the school's rating has fallen. I believe this is a result of the schools finances...
