My overall experience with Jacksonville Highschool, Is one of So many highs and few lows. With Most of my mothers side of the family going here i felt honored to finally go to where many of them began their journeys. This school has really shaped me up to who i am today and coming from someone in many poor families I thank Jacksonville high school for helping me begin the journey to start my own life.

There are some good teachers and students at Jacksonville High School. One thing I don't like about this school is that it's not fair. I feel like the teachers have to respect us students just as much as we have to respect them. The teachers here get away with to much and are just flat out unprofessional. There's so much i could talk about but i'm just keeping it simple.

I enjoyed the social and academic side of the school. People there were very friendly and very kind. Teachers were very good at what they do and they were glad to be there. The academic side was good, but there is always room for improvement. I enjoyed most of my classes, but some I felt could be more challenging or better taught. Overall it has been a good experience and I wouldn't trade it for anywhere else.

An excellent school with superb teachers. JHS has an exceptional academic curriculum with art, music, drama, and a variety of sports for boys and girls.

Great Academic school. Athletic program is mediocre and very, very political. Does not matter how good you are in athletics, more important is who you and your parents are. There is no off season sports program.

This school has started depending too much upon technology to teach the students. The teachers are rude and lazy. Have had them tell me there is no such thing as a "504 plan" (which is state law). Tends to have their favorite students, and if you are not a favorite then too bad for you. Terrible sch...

I'm a former student and moved away because of this school. The administration only cares about good test scores and has let students to free after getting caught with drugs so not to make the school look bad.
