GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

This is my fifth year as a student at UMA, and overall I would say I've had a great experience. My favorite part of the school is the teachers, as well as the opportunities I wouldn't get at a public high school.

Overall, i think that my school is very flawed. we have a high turnover rate, a large amount of problem students, and overall not a lot of stability. despite these problems, i have never regretted my choice to attend this school. i love the physical fitness aspect of it. i love the opportunities that you have to prove that you are the best. i love most of the teachers and staff. i love the small number of students. while UMA is incredibly flawed and far from perfect, i thinkt hat it is the best place that i could have gone.

The leadership opportunities are really good. They have people come from different colleges to help us learn what it is going to be like in college.
