First opening in 1956, LaBelle Elementary School is a longstanding staple of the Cobb County School System. As an Arts Integration Public School teaching students from prekindergarten through fifth grade, LaBelle frames its lessons in the context of the arts, using visualizations, musical accompaniment, and hands-on individual and group activities during lessons. Students can look forward to an early introduction to famous art history in painting, sculpture, music and theater. In addition to the rich tapestry of art-assisted education, LaBelle Elementary School also provides opportunities for additional student enrichment. Extracurricular activities like the cross country-style Run Club promote physical fitness and wellness at an early age, the LaBelle Lyricals group cultivates musical ability and Math Team builds up a foundation of mathematical skill. LaBelle Elementary School students will go on to attend Smitha Middle School or Griffin Middle School, then Osborne High School.

GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
