GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

since 2019-2020 school year started, there has been an average of fights of 2x per week. there was a fight in the first week of school where the girl was knocked unconscious and peed herself. teachers (in my experience) were not very nice and I feel as tho they don't want me to succeed, even the honors teachers. I failed one of my honors classes (mainly bc the teacher won't let us retake tests or quizzes even if we flunk big time) and I was put in ESS. my guidance counselor told me I would be taken out of that class and put into a regular class, then if I failed that one, that's when I would have to do ESS. one good thing about La Loma, is Mrs Pitcock. if you ever get her as a teacher, it will be the best time for you. she is amazing. kids at also on drugs or alcohol and it's not a very safe environment for kids to be around. personal counseling is available but if you are having suicidal thoughts or actions, all you have to tell the counselor is that you won't commit suicide.

At first, there’s the standard sports teams, then there’s the academic competition teams. I didn’t play school sports, but I still play sports...

7/10 - Certain teachers and friends made the difference between being a terrible school and not. If you are enrolled in Honors classes, you will, for the most part, be surrounded by at least decent people. If you are in regular classes, then the ethics of your peers sharply deteriorates. Ignore many...

The principle and his staff punish only wanting to give maximum punishment on students. They don't listen to problems and do not hold thierself accountable for there own actions / mistakes
