GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I personally never ventured far outside of the music clique at North. However, the music program at this school is seriously something special, and it makes students who are involved feel like a family, all connected through the shared passion for music.

Overall my experience has been good. The only complaint I have is that some of teachers are not the best. They don't always know what they are teaching and they are more of a babysitter than a teacher. Because of this the students are left to figure it out themselves because we have to pass a test at the end of the year.

Overall I think North's a great school. It's mainly AICE or Arts students and there aren't too many fights (though there is one occasionally, but what did you expect?). Just know if you're going into AICE classes and you're use to not studying you better learn how because those exams will eat you alive if you can't study.

Not a very good school. The student experience is overwhelmingly boring, and many teachers are awful. There are a few great, caring teachers, but they are entirely overshadowed by the bad ones. The school has almost no electives that aren't art classes, and they are taught by teachers who don't care...

North High was an A school up until last year, but that should improve with the new principal. The AICE Program allows the students to easily obtain Bright Futures scholarships, which are applicable to all Florida colleges/universities. North is also an arts school, the Center for the Arts in this z...

This is a great school and my daughter loves it. She is a straight A student and loves the JROTC program. Yes she comes home exhausted from working hard all day but is up to the challenge. Go Red Knights!!!

NFMHS is the worst school I've attended compared to any school, EVER. This is the only school I've known who blames ME for ME being BULLIED. Students: I should not be treated like a target just because I'm new, or forget to wear red one day. I should not be physically, or emotionally hurt because of...
