GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I wish we had more involvement from the parents such as in PTA as well as the creation of new electives to help students become job-ready if they plan to not attend college.

Many of the students are very nice and there was never a setting where one can feel unsafe. I enjoyed all the sports that I was a part of along with all the administrators and coaches. They helped along with becoming not only a better student/athlete but as a better person overall. The only thing I would like to see change is the timing of school because besides my wrestling and football it always felt like there was no time after school to really do anything especially in the winter when it would get dark early.

I love how Freedom seems like they care about their students. However, some of the administrative staff does not listen to their students.

It's incredibly frustrating to see a well-funded school completely drop the ball when it comes to caring for its students, with the counselors being a major letdown. Instead of providing genuine guidance and support, they seem to be there solely to collect a paycheck and call it a day. They lack any...

Best public high school in all of Northern Virginia if you’re looking for a flat out good academic program with decent sports. It’s safe and the median students are high achievers. They will get a chance to go to good colleges. If you are a parent looking to have your high achieving child to continue...

Looking to move to give my child a chance at and a positive experience at a different school. School leadership should be replaced
