GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My experience as a student at Temple City High School is that it is a very lively school! We are the only school that allows disabled students who don't have the chance to be themselves in other schools. The staff makes sure everybody is safe on campus and during our activities! The biggest change I want to see is a concert hall and food can be better!

With clubs, elective classes, and teams to be on, any person can find a place where they belong in the school. The school offers a wide variety of class difficulties to accommodate anyone's learning style. Like any other public school, the food from the cafeteria is not the greatest but poses no health risks and is free as of today (01/29/2024). The teachers are generally considerate and there is a strong sense of community here.

Best part about being a student at Temple City High School is that I feel like I am in a productive learning environment when I am attending class here. I also feel like I fit in with the people around me as majority of the people are Asian. I would like to see more security to prevent fights from happening.

Although I am recommending this school, I would like to state multiple things about this school that need fixing. Number one is that this school can sometimes be disorganized when It comes to changing class schedules and allowing the students to voice their concerns whether that be about dropping a...

We may complain a lot about TC, but it really isn't that bad. Here is an overview of my personal opinions on everything the school has to offer:CAMPUS: generally clean. The new buildings are well designed and very neat. Older bathrooms usually smell and the sinks don't work. Drainage needs to be imp...

I am a current student at this school, and I don't enjoy it. The pressure to achieve B or higher is intense , and for the ones that do have excellent grades, no one cares anything about us except our grades. My main complaint is regarding the Algebra 2 teachers. This is a vital course that will show...

I am a high school parent. This school is one of the best schools. The teachers are professional and care for all students. Additionally, the students are kind, calm, and respectful.
