I am currently a student at Oakland High School and the best parts about the schools are that they will prepare you for college and the worst is that there are a lot of fights and the administration is do much to nothing to stop bullying.

Its a nice school, but the environment can use a little more enthusiasm. Also more motivation and positivity.

Oakland high school has a great culture surrounding academics and sports. The football team is the main sport that students and faculty alike support and cheer on throughout the year. Most of the teachers and admin are supportive of students and are understanding about what students need to succeed.

This school’s staff is terrible. Every teacher I have encountered is rude. The students are rowdy and suffer no consequences when they bully or fight other students. Can’t wait to move out of their zoned area
